Hello Coaches!! My name is Madisyn Engelbrecht, and I’m a member of the Class of 2028 at Lake Stevens High School, where I currently hold a 3.5 GPA. I play first base and outfield, and softball has been a huge part of my life for the past nine years. The game has fueled my passion and shaped who I am both on and off the field. It challenges me and pushes me to grow. I love that it drives me to be better every single day, whether I’m working on my swing or studying in the classroom.

I currently play for Elevate NW 16U Black, a mixed age travel team where I continue to develop my skills and compete at a high level. My goal is to play college softball for a competitive program. It has always been my dream to combine my love for the game with my academic goals. I plan to major in criminology and explore my interest in law enforcement and justice.

Through my softball journey, I’ve learned the importance of perseverance, determination, patience, and integrity. Over the years, I’ve become a vocal leader on the field, constantly communicating plays and encouraging my teammates. Softball has also taught me how to handle failure with grace and to always focus on getting better. Most of all, it has given me lifelong friendships and experiences I’ll always cherish.

Softball is more than just a sport to me, it’s a way of life. I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to a college program and to continue growing as both an athlete and a person.
