Hello coaches!

I’m Porsha Miller, I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old. When I first started, I I clicked instantly with it. The game started out as fun, but now I love it and it has become part of me. As a player or student, I have been told I am very coachable, hardworking, and dedicated. My week is always filled with softball and people ask if I ever get tired of it, but this is my life and softball is a part of it, I love it. I want to continue playing softball after high school and hopefully in a college or university program. I love this game, the competitiveness, my teammates and the environment. Softball has taught me things to do on the field and off the field, with my friends, teammates, drills, life lessons, and much more. I take this game seriously as I am a pitcher and utility player and will play any position the Coach asks. Currently I am lucky enough to Pitch, Play Shortstop, 1st Base, 2nd base and sometimes even in the Outfield. In just a few years I have been very lucky and received outstanding training and guidance from some excellent coaches who took interest in me and guided me to where I am today. I believe this is why I was fortunate enough to make Varsity High School Softball as a freshman.  In High School I am concentrating on higher level classes such as Honors or Advanced Placement classes to help me in my future as well as maintain a 3.50 or higher GPA.
