Hi, my name is Linea Sotelo, Class of 2028, I attend Woodinville Highschool. I am a third baseman, utility. Going to college, majoring in Child Development / Psychology and playing softball is something I've been dreaming about for several years, being able to help kids is something I've always wanted to do, specifically fields like speech- language pathology. I started softball almost 9 years ago. Picking it up and learning incredibly fast, and I want to continue that.
My first season of Highschool I was starting third base on JV, batting 4th and 5th in the lineup. Due to my flexibility and quick learning on and off the field, my coach was able to utilize my skills in multiple positions throughout my season becoming a player that can step foot anywhere. I'm always open to playing new positions, and trying new things.Growing up I attended summer camps every year, making it to the 2024 BYU training camp. Working extra time in my backyard, going to the cages, getting coaches, working to be in the place I want most.
I'm a very dedicated person, knowing in my head that I am a leader, I will speak up if I need to, and more importantly knowing my team is my family, being loyal to them and having so much fun. I'm very excited to see where I go for my future, Thank you so much for your time.-Linea Sotelo #14
